Welcome to 'The Grip'!
'The Grip' also known as 'Gripster' is a Skiff 38 Yacht built in 1990. She was originally named 'Pol' and was one of two boats built by Brian Perry to a David Payne design (the other boat originally called After Burner and now known as 'It Happens'). She was conceived by two 18ft skiff sailors as the ultimate cruise/racer.
The Grip is based in Sydney Harbour and races at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA)throughout the summer and the winter. We also regulary participate in club racing out of RANSA

Back in action

Quiet New Year.
Due to other commitments, Gripster is currently bobbing around on the mooring without too much use. Damn... this is not the plan!
